This project featuring Linit U-Profile cord glass creates a sleek professional looking elevator lobby with a soft warm white eye-catching backlight. This use of backlighting pops a sharp contrast between the elevator’s white light and the lobby’s orange light from the staircases providing a warm inviting feel to the area.

U-profiled glass is widely used in modular wall assemblies and provides strong structural rigidity and a classic sleek look to the finished building. Our new Design System is Class A1 / A2-s1, d0 compliant, meaning it meets the stringent UK regulations for non-combustible materials in high-rise and public buildings—an increasingly critical benchmark in today’s construction landscape.

Further to our Director; Colin’s site visit to the Sesame Apartments, we were pleased to see the impressive work in progress on the installation of the Linit Glass (toughened, heat soak tested, and enameled). It has been a fantastic effort from everyone involved, from the design through to the installation, and it is great to see the project coming together so well at the Sesame Apartments. We look forward to presenting the finalised look of the building upon its completion, we are sure it will be as impressive as our other past projects and will certainly stand out.
